Fliin Pro License

Version 1.0. Licensor: Simon Lascaud ("we"). This license covers the blocks and screens marked "Pro" in the Fliin registry ("Pro Items"), in every version you download with your license key. Everything else in Fliin is under the MIT License (LICENSE).

1. Who may use the Pro Items

  • Solo license: one named developer.
  • Team license: the number of developers ("Seats") stated on your purchase, all working for the same company or organization. A Seat may be reassigned when someone leaves the team.

Each developer who installs, updates or edits Pro Items needs a Seat. People who only build, test or run an application that contains them (CI, QA, designers, end users) do not.

2. What you may do

  • Use, copy and modify the Pro Items in any number of End Products: applications, websites or software that you or your clients ship to end users, free or paid.
  • Build End Products for clients. Your client may keep and maintain the End Product, including the Pro Items inside it, without buying a license, as long as they do not use the Pro Items in another product.
  • Keep the Pro Items in private source repositories, and share them with the people who work on the End Product.
  • Download new Pro Items and updates for as long as Fliin Pro is offered, with no further payment. The license itself is perpetual: the versions you have downloaded stay yours to use even if Fliin Pro stops.

3. What you may not do

  • Redistribute, sell, sublicense or share the Pro Items, modified or not, on their own, or in a product whose main value is the Pro Items: a UI kit, a template, a theme, a starter, a page builder, a design system, a component library or a competing product.
  • Make the source code of the Pro Items publicly available, for example in a public repository or an open-source project. Compiled applications are fine.
  • Use the Pro Items to train or feed a code generator, an AI model or a marketplace of components or templates.
  • Share your license key outside the developers it covers.
  • Remove the "Part of Fliin Pro" line at the top of each Pro file.

4. Third-party notices

Some Pro Items derive from HeroUI Native (Apache License 2.0). Their notices in the file headers and in NOTICE must be kept.

5. Refunds and termination

Refunds follow the terms of our reseller, Polar, at the time of purchase. A refunded license ends, and its key is revoked. If you breach this license and do not cure it within 30 days of our notice, the license ends and you must stop using the Pro Items in new work.

6. No warranty, limited liability

The Pro Items are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license.

7. Governing law

This license is governed by French law. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence still apply.
